Vietnam veterans groups clean the wall and pathway at the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C. every Saturday! On the anniversary of D-Day in 2015, QoV joined them as part of a QOV event. The South Carolina QOV group came up to present 30 Quilts of Valor to a group of Vietnam Veterans. Walt Davis, acting Chairman of the Board for Quilts of Valor, was also present. It was very moving, not only to participate in the cleaning of the wall but also to help present quilts to this group. Here are some pictures of the event.

This QoV top was made by Kay Lettington and quilted by Colleen Craven. It was presented to Tom's uncle, WWII veteran Dean Lettington, at the site of the World WarII Memorial on the grounds of the State Capitol in Des Moines, Iowa. Click on the small image for a full resolution view to examine the quality of the beautiful work done by our long arm quilter, Colleen Craven.
