Who are we and what do we do?
"The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover all those service members and veterans touched by war with healing and comforting quilts called Quilts of Valor."
We are a small group of quilters in the North County area of San Diego. We sew together on the third Wednesday of each month to share ideas, patterns, fabrics, and friendship. However, many of us sew at home on a regular basis to keep up with requests. Anyone who would like to join our group is invited to contact us at info@quiltsofvalorsdnc.org

Quilts of Valor are given freely to United States Military active duty service members (regular or reserve) and veterans (former or retired). Any individual in the area with quilting skills would be welcome at our sewing sessions to assist in piecing quilt tops and preparing them for the beautiful finishing work by our long-arm machine quilters. Donations of quality 100% cotton quilting weight fabrics that could be used in a patriotic theme are always welcome. Cash donations to off-set costs of batting and other materials will also be gratefully accepted. Donations to our local group, Quilts of Valor San Diego, North County, can be arranged by email . Donations may also be made through the Quilts of Valor Foundation Home Page. You may specify that all or any part of you donation is intended to be sent to Quilts of Valor San Diego North County (Group #581).
